Since getting his start in music at the tender age of 13 when his parents bought him an electric guitar, Joshua Adams has embarked on an astounding musical journey filled with successes, failures, lessons learned, and stories for all ages. It was not until Joshua was an 18 year old college freshman when he saw a glimpse of musical success as a writer, performer, and producer.

Through a government anti-drug agency, he negotiated and produced a statewide tour across Florida in middle schools and high schools. This would be the first experience he had as a touring-performing artist, producer, and manager. During this time, he and his band were in discussions of development with representatives from Trans Continental Records & Management out of Orlando, Florida. Although a deal was never struck with the company that was responsible for such acts as N’Sync and Backstreet Boys, Joshua learned much about the music industry and just how different roles play key parts in finding success in music. Soon after the tour ended, Joshua was in the studio learning the tricks of the trade behind the console and developing his own artists. One of which was handed off to a representative with WEG, management for Britney Spears, N’Sync, The Jonas Brothers, and others at the time.

Although he enjoyed producing, engineering, and writing for others, he could not get away from working on his own project and developing his craft as an artist. This drive to be a successful artist and writer brought him to Nashville, Tennessee, “music city USA”. It turned out to be the right decision for him as within only two weeks of the relocation, he was hired on to work with the legendary country super group Alabama’s Teddy Gentry as a production coordinator and assistant engineer. Joshua would go on to oversee virtually every project Gentry was involved with including Emerson Drive, Alabama, and the launch of a Nashville branch of the largest independent record label, Wind Up Records New York.

While working closely with Gentry, Joshua would find himself wearing many hats in areas of management, marketing, publishing, engineering, production, and A&R. During this time, he would also be developing his own work as artist and preparing to tour throughout the southeast United States. With Gentry eventually taking some time away from the industry before touring with Alabama and Wind Up Records Nashville coming to an end, Joshua was brought on to work closely with the world famous Sound Kitchen recording studios. While as a part of the Sound Kitchen, he became a “jack of all trades” and did everything from marketing and IT work to running studio sessions as a producer/engineer and music production. During this time, he had the chance to work closely with such talents as Jason Scheff and Chicago, Mark Slaughter, Buddy Jewel, and Kent Wells Productions, the company behind Dolly Parton and others. As an artist/engineer/producer/writer, Joshua would also have the chance to learn from such production talent and Grammy Award winners behind Chicago, Jewel, Scott Stapp, Lauryn Hill, Lionel Richie, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Saving Abel, Dolly Parton, and many more.

As an expert in multitasking, Joshua would also be touring throughout the United States and continuing to build his loyal fan base. In 2010, he and his band were on the road for over 80 show dates. In 2011, Joshua booked out over 100 show dates in the United States. In 2012, he and his band would play over 130 show dates throughout the country. Over the past few years, he has received many ovations for his work and past releases, many of which can be found on iTunes. Soon after finishing some spring tour dates in 2012, Joshua decided it was time for another change and embarked on another life excursion to the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, Nevada.

A part of a recent deal struck with successful Las Vegas production company Dustree Productions, Joshua Adams is preparing to release a much anticipated single entitled “#sexting”. The release is the first of many collaborations with writer/producer Tanzer and showcases a much more dynamic side of Joshua’s talents. Be on the lookout for “#sexting” and many upcoming show dates featuring Joshua’s newly formed and very talented band. With hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide in full support of #TeamJoshua and amazing new music on the way, the best is yet to come.
