Rockie Brown And Tanzer Release “Dangerous” On January 19th, 2016

“Dangerous” is the fourth single from Tanzer/Rockie Brown. “Dangerous” is a piano ballad with soul influences, and lyrics that discuss themes of nostalgia and regret. “And on that Sunday afternoon, When the walls you built came crashing in, you burnt them down, I hear the whisper of your voice, I’ll let the memories begin, I have no choice,” Rockie unloads in verse one. This is a luscious wall of sound from Tanzer unlike anything we’ve heard from him to date. It’s so polished; it sounds like it was commissioned for a major motion picture. What I find most intriguing is Rockie’s voice. She has the depth and maturity only an international recording artist would have. It’s amazing that she’s an unknown but I can assure you, if this is what we’re to expect moving forward, she won’t be unknown for much longer.

Mixing credits again go to Tanzer’s longtime friend and Juno Award recipient Dan Brodbeck, who won the 2010 Recording Engineer of the Year title for his work on the songs “Apple of My Eye” and “Be Careful” from Dolores O’Riordan’s album No Baggage.

Dangerous Available For Download Everywhere Music Is Sold (iTunes, Amazon Music) January 19th, 2016.
